Wastewater Treatment Design Engineering
At Piercehaven, we have ten pilot wastewater reactors and can design and carry out treatability studies on your wastewater quickly and efficiently.
This engineering process involves:
- Initial consultation and site visit
- Collection of up to 100 gallons of untreated wastewater
- Design engineering for 10 wastewater operations systems/scenarios
- Pilot plant operation of each scenario simultaneously, including laboratory analyses
- Data management and analysis
- Development of a preliminary engineering design for an efficient, viable wastewater treatment system
- Submission of report, including design specifications, complete and ready to use for final design

Air Pollution Control Engineering
With over 35 years of professional experience, including 22 years of Air Pollution Control Engineering, Piercehaven is well equipped to complete all preliminary studies and engineering design of multiple different types of air pollution control systems. These engineering studies and designs are preliminary and provide detailed engineering to select the appropriate type of pollution control equipment, with final design and installation managed by the equipment manufacturer.

Biomethane/Digestor Engineering
Interest in Renewable Natural Gas (a.k.a. - Biogas) is on the rise. Use of biogas RECs is recognized internationally as a method to mitigate CO2 emissions from traditional fossil fuels and Biogas RECs are increasing in value. Operations like CAFOs, dairy farms and milk processing plants have ample biological waste that can be readily converted into biogas.
